General Maintenance
As maintenance free as it gets!
No Lawnmowers, No Trimming, No Sprinkler Timers, No Fertilizer.
Rake with a plastic rake or a leaf blower to clear off any debris.
Hose down the turf once a month or as needed to clean off any dust.
Brush up any flattened areas monthly or as needed with a broom or plastic rake.
Pets and Artificial Grass Maintenance
Pick up solids before cleaning.
Hose down artificial grass every other week.
Depending on the size of your dogs and quantity, you may need to hose down grass more or less.
When scent is detected: hose down artificial grass with a mild detergent or white vinegar.
Use a liquid fertilizer attachment on you hose (about $15).
Fill attachment with detergent of vinegar as you would fertilizer and hose down the grass.
If a liquid fertilizer attachment is unavailable, use a squirt bottle to disperse detergent or vinegar after a light hosing with plain water.
Scrub lightly with a push broom or scrub brush with a long extension handle.
Let sit for a 5 - 10 minutes and rinse off with plain water from the hose.
Most people do this monthly.
